There are those amongst the damned that call themselves Cainite - that believe that all of the damned share a common, singular, ancestor: Caine. His children are the Antediluvians - from whom all clans are descended; and they must be destroyed lest they reclaim their blood from the unliving.

Some kindred accept that mortal religions serve no purpose once they have slipped into the darkness of unlife. Those for whom this longing leaves a void, often fall prey to the open arms of the Church of Caine. The book of Nod teaches of the origins of the Cainite condition, lending a biblical explanation as to why they hunger for human blood. The Noddists, as they call themselves, were once relegated to the Sabbat. Though devoted as they remain to the death of the Antediluvians, not everyone was willing to follow the beckoning to engage in the Gehenna war - and have found themselves cultivating a flock amongst the Anarchs.

All Noddists - all who are aware of the truth of Caine - are welcome in the church. Even the Duskborn, the harbingers of Gehenna, the prophets of the Eternal Struggle given flesh, are welcome. If Cainites are to survive the second Inquisition, they must come together to first tackle the demons in their own world - first they can diablerise their Elders - and then they can claim true dominion over humanity.

The Dark Father has teachings for all, and there are those who must be taught a lesson.
