“Why Do YOU obey?"

Even in unlife - even with the ever-watching eye of the Inquisition - technology has its uses. The internet was a kindred invention, after all. The Red question are an anonymous movement, made up of hacktivists and political agitators, that take to the ocean of online-thought and turn it against the Camarilla and Inquisition alike. Even if they aren’t using tech anymore, no lick can ever truly scrub their digital footprint clean. A wealth of blackmail, and secrets, ready to be weaponised.

Not everyone is happy taking the information they’re given at face value. When thrust into an unlife full of uncertainty, and millennia of propaganda, spouted by the mouths of the immortal, some find this an even harder pill to swallow. Why shouldn’t you know the truth? Just because you’ve been dragged into this underworld centuries after some stuck-up-fuck that thinks they’re in charge doesn’t mean you have to believe every word that comes form their murderous mouth. The Red Question exists to pose that question - to ask every single neonate and fledgling why they obey. Through chatrooms, thinly veiled hitpieces in news outlets, and the occasional act of Molotov-fuelled praxis; they serve to destabilise the systems of power, all the while keeping the existence of kindred from prying mortal eyes.  

Some people can’t be trusted with technology; their presence on the internet a walking breach of the Masquerade, posting Tiktoks and reels of them and their Thin-blooded fang-bangers dancing through ‘til dawn. As much as they are a force for freedom of information; The Question is an online security network - maintaining the Masquerade  and making loose-lipped Licks disappear completely. Anyone with a commitment to these ideals can call themselves a member of The Red Question if they want to; but it is the hacktivist and terrorist cells that really run the show.

Information can often do more damage than a stake; if you’re smart.
